Seven-year-old Laurie is ready for a Christmas filled with sleepovers, hot cocoa, and holiday fun with her friends. But when her mom announces that they’ll be spending Christmas in Trinidad, Laurie is anything but excited.  As she learns to embrace the unfamiliar, Laurie discovers that there’s more to Christmas than she ever imagined.
