Elsa, a young Trinidadian woman, suffered psychological abuse and neglect by her parents from an early age, as well as spousal infidelity and sexual and emotional abuse which she continuously faced in her life. This led to a degradation of her physical and emotional health. But her unwavering spirit of determination and hope, fueled by her deep faith in God, gave her the courage and strength to persevere against all odds and remain ever confident that life would get better someday.
